Description: Ashley Madison is an online dating service and social network service marketed primarily to people who are already in a relationship

Site Review

The name Ashley Madison is a little deceiving and not so upfront and obvious as other cheating sites like Ashley Madison has been really strategic in their advertising targeting traveling married business men on in-flight magazines and with billboards in Times Square saying “Life is short, have an affair.”

It is free to join Ashley Madison but in order to contact other members you’ll have to purchase contact tokens at $49 for 100 tokens. Each contact costs five credits or about $2.75. One of the obvious downfalls to the service is because of the nature of the business targeting cheating husbands and wives you don’t see many photos on profiles.

Under the Affair Guarantee Program, if you don’t find someone within the initial 3 months after purchasing the “Affair Guarantee” Membership Package, we’ll refund you $249, being the amount you paid for participating in the Program. At the $249 price point this is obviously targeting business professionals that might be interested in extramarital affairs while traveling. Most of the other cheating dating sites seem to promote lonely and horny housewives where as Ashley Madison is very blunt about infidelity and sex on the side hookups.

There are several features that you can use on the site for free once you have signed up and are debating whether to upgrade and buy tokens. You can send pre-composed “Winks” to members for free. To send a wink, access the member’s profile details page and click “Send me a wink”.

Keep your personal pictures confidential with a Private Showcase key. If an admirer wants to see your photos you can send them a Key to view your Private Showcase and let them see more of you. To send a key, access the member’s profile details page and click “Send me a private key”. You may revoke keys at anytime by accessing the member’s profile detail page and clicking “Revoke the private key”.

The Search Tool is free which allows you to see who’s available online now. You can also block a member by accessing their Ad Profile details page, scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking “Block”. If you use credits to send a mail message to any member that becomes involuntarily suspended, they automatically refund those credits back to your account. That way, you can initiate contact with confidence. reports that the sign-up ratio between males and females are about 8.5 men for every 1.5 women. Another interesting statistic is that about one out of every 10 men actually purchases credits enabling them to contact female members, which bring the active ratio closer to 1:1.

I have spent money on this site too…and came up empty over and over…BUT…finally after maybe a year of contacting women selectively…don’t contact the ones with unbelievable profiles or pics…I met a very cool married woman who lives close to me. We’ve been seeing each other for close to 6 months now…her hubby travels during the week…perfect. She treats me like a king once or twice a week…wow!

Ashley Madison is a glorified chat room at best and probably run and operated by chatters. Women looking for men are swamped with e-mails almost immediately. If your a good chatter you can rise above the ranks and chat with a lonely women posting 10 year old pictures of herself when she was 30 lbs thinner. Some genus ex chatter came up with the idea of how to get chatters to pay for chatting, the men get to bid for the attention of women and the women get to be pedistlised and dotted upon by groveling males and both parties get to pay for it…..pure genus

same experience as the first two fellows

it’s a money sink, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they pay people to ‘drum up interest’ within the site to get boner boys like me to type in their credit card numbers…

Good work, Thomas, but I sure don’t have the patience of one year of trying. Easier to hook up at the library…

Ashley Madison is pretty much a pipe dream for men who are hoping they can find an alternative to the obvious rules of nature.

you will realize this truth quickly.

Most of the women’s ads on AM are false profiles wich serve as bait for the man who wants to believe there are millions of married women dying to have sex with him.

False ads account for about 95+% of the ads.

Of the remaining less than 5% that are not false ads, about half are from professional escorts.

The remaining legitimate ads are from real wives who are fat, old, unsightly. no wonder they need to pay a website to find someone who would want to touch them.

the simple fact of life is that an attractive woman that you would want to do, doesn’t need help finding a man to fuck them. an attractive woman is offered free sex everyday of her life.

the point is the website works hard to get your money. all those fake ads are constantly hitting you up for chat, try to get you engage in email exchange, and send collect emails all of which will run through your credits pretty quickly as you are charged for contact, not by the month.

a pretty good scam that preys on men’s fatal weakness.

LET THE BUYER BEWARE!! if you’re that horny, save your money and get a girl drunk! your chances of success are 50/50. even if you fail, at least you’ll get to hang out with a real girl and you’ll get a buzz.

Regarding Ashley Madison….i would love discuss and issue i am having with Ashley Madison. They have continuously suspended my account, one after another newlt created ones, because on one earlier profile, i made the mistake of blowing a few men off, by asking for money. NOT my intent at all, but, they suspended that account, and have suspended every new account i have created. Now, obviously, they are reading my mail messages. Is this not an invasion of my pricacy? I cannot beleive the odacity of this company, and feel they should be taken to the carpet over this. The nerve! Any lawyers out there, willing to fight this one, please let me know. Thanks.

This is just disgusting. These ain’t no men, those who are married or with someone and are on this site are called boys that will be nothing but alone.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! A total scam! A fraud!
Many of the women listed just do not exist, or are no longer “connected.”

I am a 24 year old attract woman who is unhappy in my marriage and I have an account on Ashly Madison. And I have had better success than I had at bars.
am not old, fat, or unsightly at all. I am not an escort and have never asked or money or even taken gifts other then the man buying dinner.
I am a real person and I have greatly enjoyed the fun and companionship that I have found through Ashley Madison.
Those who talk bad just don’t have the patience needed to be on that kind of site. The women are generally from higher income brackets and have more to lose than the women who are willing to go to bars to pick up men are not worried about their husbands finding out, while women like me want more excitement, but have too much to lose to be that obvious.

Like Alice, I have found AM quite good for contacting men (I am real, and young, and attractive, and I’m not a hooker) EXCEPT that AM randomly suspends my account – i can be in mid-conversation with someone, fixing up a date, and suddenly my account is suspended. I’ve no idea why, and when I email AM they won’t tell me why, so I suspect its some pimply-faced support guy at AM who just suspends peoples accounts for fun. So when I meet a guy I like, I give him my FB address asap before we get suspended. If it weren’t for that, I’d recommend AM. But because of that, and its a BIG problem with AM, I’m now trying other dating sites.

Guys, you just have to be patient, funny, cocky, and interesting. AM has tons of guys competing for the ladies’ attention. Differentiate yourselves and don’t let yourself get swept up in the roller coaster of emotions. It’s a numbers game at first. It really forces you to look at yourself and examine what makes you attractive and to perhaps do something about it.

All this bunk about it being fake is crap, loser moaning. I’ve met four wonderful women over two years and have enjoyed the most amazing intimate connections ever. Women on AM have a sex drive that’s worth mining for. That’s why they’re there.

Don’t waste your money on the online chat part. Just email, post a generic picture along with a clearer confidential picture. Strive for a private email address and then you’re in. The rest is up to you. Positive, confident, successful, optimistic, fun, sexy. This is what they’re looking for and you’ve got to deliver. Good luck!

I’ve seen this Ashley Madison ad everywhere. And finally I find a good review about it. The images are so hot that they wanna make you cheat xD Well that’s if you have who to cheat.  Anyway I’ve been using online dating for a while and it actually works pretty well when you live in a big city.

Here’s the site I use : Match your friendsPlease review it ! I know it’s not popular yet, but it will be soon 😀 I’s very “friendly”
